The Canadian Canoe Museum not only houses the largest collection of canoes and kayaks in the world, but we also care for hundreds of paddles. These paddles come in all shapes and sizes, colours, and designs. From manufactured paddles that were made on a production line, to one-of-a-kind, hand-carved works of art – the paddles in our collection are as unique as the canoes and kayaks they are paired with. The paddle is what propels the watercraft forward, and your donation is now propelling us forward in the same way with your support for the care of the collection.
This meaningful initiative also makes a lovely gift or memorial tribute. For more information about adopting a paddle, please contact Kate Kennington by email or call (705) 748-9153 ext 220
