REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before payment is collected and your enrolment confirmed, you will be asked to fill out a canoe trip registration form. If you choose to pay via Shop or PayPal, it may bypass the registration form. In that case, we will follow up by email with you to complete the form.
Make sure you have your tripper's health card and medical info handy, as we will be asking questions to ensure the best trip experience possible❗

An adventure on the French River awaits!
We are turning our attention to another storied waterway and setting out to explore this classic Ontario river route.
This all-girls, five-day river trip is an incredible opportunity to take your paddling and backcountry skills to the next level. The route follows the French River’s winding channels and rugged rocky shores before opening into the wide waters and sweeping vistas of the Georgian Bay coastline. Each day includes paddling, lining or light portaging where needed, and plenty of time for fun as we travel from campsite to campsite. Campers build essential backcountry skills such as cooking, setting up tents and tarps, and learning how to camp comfortably, confidently, and safely.

🎒Transportation and Gear
Transportation between the Museum and the backcountry is included, along with all group gear and equipment. Personal gear is not included; please refer to our packing list for details. -
🛶 Prerequisites
Previous canoe-tripping experience is an asset. Experience paddling a canoe is also an asset. Please email camps@canoemuseum.ca if you are unsure whether this trip is a good fit for your child. -
