Kevin Callan (a.k.a. The Happy Camper) instructor and author of The Happy Camper: The Essential Guide to Life Outdoors will be hosting a canoe tripping workshop touching on everything from first-time outings, more moderate excursions, and advanced multiple-day trips.
He’ll be covering topics such as: fire lighting, making good meals, portaging, navigation, and basically how to still be happy while dealing with bugs, bears, blisters and bad weather.

He’s a regular columnist for Explore Magazine and Paddling Magazine, is a key note speaker for the all the major outdoor events, and has been an outdoor instructor for well over thirty years.
