Ages 8 - 12
This four-day camp is a great introduction to canoeing and the Museum! We spend the week dividing our time between on-water, on-campus, and in-museum activities. We'll focus on the basics of canoeing, play paddling games, and gain the skills outlined in the ORCKA Level 1 program. When off the water, we'll utilize the Museum’s outdoor campus for campcraft and games. We will also dip into the Museum proper, where we’ll interact with the largest collection of canoes and kayaks in the world.. This day camp provides the perfect mix of teambuilding, skill development on and off water, all through an outdoor education lens.
Camp runs rain or shine, please dress for the weather!
